Please give me your thoughts on event planning. I am a part of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in Decatur GA and we are planning a Dinner to feed the homeless veterans in November. Although this isn’t my first time planning an event, this is my first time planning an I am very nervous about this. You may ask why am I nervous. Well because this is so important to so many. We have to organize the food down to how many bottles of water. We have to organize the volunteers, need to ensure no one is just standing around. And need to ensure that everyone feels purposeful. Need to organize transportation for the homeless veterans to get to our location. Need to organize all of the who’s, what’s, when’s, and where’s. Need to get committees together. We have only 2 months to get this together. All help/ideas would be appreciated.
